Clearing CPM Cache

It may be required/recommended to delete the CPM cache files when updating CPM to ensure any changes in the service are correctly reflected on your system so if you have any issues with CPM after an update try deleting the cache files:

Windows

  • Delete the cache files located at: C:Users[Your User Name]AppDataRoamingBaseHead IncCPM
  • Launch CPM and allow a few minutes for the required data to be downloaded. You may note all the artwork in the store is missing, this will be downloaded in the background.
  • Close CPM and relaunch. You should now see the image data. If not, select the Options tab in CPM and click Refresh Images

Mac Mac hides the application data away in a hidden “Library” folder. The best way to access this is as follows:

  • Hold down Alt (Option) and click the Go menu
  • You should see a Library option listed:

  • Delete the cache files at ~Library/Application Support/BaseHead/CPM
  • Launch CPM and allow a few minutes for the required data to be downloaded. You may note all the artwork in the store is missing, this will be downloaded in the background.
  • Close CPM and relaunch. You should now see the image data. If not, select the Options tab in CPM and click Refresh Images

If you need to clear the CPM settings on Mac:

  • Open Terminal and run the following command:
  • defaults delete com.basehead.cpm
