HTTP / Streaming Playback

Many facilities in Hollywood and around to world no longer allow the mounting of SFX hard drives locally for security reasons. That is where this new feature comes in. It allow streaming of files over local HTTP for facilities with enhanced security that want to be able to track who is raping the SFX library….haha

Just place your file at the local HTTP path and Drive Re-Map the database to point to the new path and you can enjoy local streaming.

NOTE: Yearly Licenses will be required for HTTP streaming starting in 2021 for Facilities.
Individual HTTP licenses will always be free for LAN or WAN HTTP streaming.

If you are looking to share your SFX Outside of your Facility for WFH users then ask us about upcoming hosting plans with easy setup and managing and an included HTTP license.  😉
