Large Time Display Panel. Standard, Ultra
A floating timecode readout big enough to see from across the room. Open it from View/Panels → Large Time Display.
What it is
A floating / dockable panel that mirrors the playhead Timecode in oversized monospace font (Consolas on Windows, Menlo on macOS). Default and minimum window size is 470 × 215 px — resize wider for a bigger readout.
Toolbar controls
Top-right colors
Two color-picker buttons let you tune the readout to your monitor / desk lighting:
- Background
- Default dark gray
#101010. - Foreground
- Default green
#00FF88.
Bottom-left T.C. toggle
The T.C. button switches the display between absolute Timecode and elapsed-time inside the current file. A remaining-time indicator sits next to it.
Persistent. Color choices and the T.C. toggle position are saved per user, so the panel comes back the way you left it.
When it’s useful
For sessions where you’re sitting back from the screen — reading sessions, ADR, foley booths — the Large Time Display lets you keep the file’s position visible without docking the Details panel or squinting at the small Timecode in the toolbar.
