basehead Connect

A DAW plugin that streams audio from basehead directly into your DAW of choice. Replaces the ancient ReWire — finally.

basehead Connect

Stream up to 2 channels on the Lite Edition, or 8 channels on Standard & Ultra. The plugin is included free with the basehead full installer.

Choose between VST3, AAX, and AU versions during install. Then add the basehead Connect plugin to your DAW — usually under the Other category.

Connecting

Once the plugin is loaded in your DAW, press the B.C. button in the transport section of basehead to connect.

Note: only run one instance of the plugin at a time.

Logic Pro users: the plugin must be loaded on your Master Output. Logic doesn’t currently allow it on an Audio or Aux bus — Source Nexus and similar plugins hit the same wall, so this is a Logic limitation, not a basehead one.
