Transfers options tab

Transfer settings apply only when creating new files. If you drag from the Results List or have Force Reference on, these don’t apply.

Lite and Free editions don’t support higher transfer sample rates — that’s why you won’t see 96–192 kHz options. View the comparison chart.

For Spotting to work correctly, set the Transfer Sample Rate to your DAW session value, and Force Reference must be OFF.

Settings

Force Reference

All files are referenced and transferred whole, untouched — no processing or sample-rate conversion.

Create Unique Filenames

Adds (2), (3), (4)… to newly created files if a file with the same name already exists at the transfer path.

Base

Sets what transferred files are named from (Filename, Description, etc.). Mirrors the Rename panel’s Transfer tab — change it in either place.

Increment Rating

Off by default. When on, each transfer bumps the file’s rating +0.01 (from the 3.00 default, hitting the 5.00 max after ~200 transfers) and flags it for Burn-In. Reader-level users on a shared database don’t keep the change.

Transfer Quality

Affects sample-rate conversion when creating new files (including pitch-slider movements). For sound design where you pitch things down a lot, leaving it at 0 adds a crispy character to pitched-down files instead of sounding dull.
