HTTP / Streaming Playback

Many facilities no longer allow the mounting of SFX hard drives locally for security reasons. That is where HTTP streaming comes in.  It allows streaming files over local HTTP OR the web for facilities with enhanced security that want to be able to track who is raping their SFX library….haha

Just import the files from a local drive as normal and then use Drive Remapping to point to the new local path to the HTTP or Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Wasabi or an AWS path.  Once you get it working with Driver Remapping and streaming you can press the ‘Commit’ button to burn the changes into the Database.  

IMPORTANT: Create .wf cache files for all files uploaded for extra drawing speed.
