Taglist Page

A staging area for sounds you want to transfer in a batch. Tag as you audition, then send everything to your DAW or transfer path in one shot.

Press T to add the selected sound to the Taglist. A counter appears next to the Taglist tab showing how many records are queued. And yes — you can have multiple Taglists running in parallel.

Pro tip. To drag the entire Taglist without switching to the tab, hold Ctrl / Option while grabbing the drag-and-drop bar — it’ll drag every un-transferred Tagged file instead of whatever’s selected on the Results page. Click the Taglist count badge to clear accidentally tagged items.

Files you’ve already transferred show with orange waveforms on the left, so you always know what’s been sent and what’s still pending. Reset or clear from the Actions and Clear menus at any time.

Spot to Track (S) and Xfer (X) send the whole un-transferred list at once — not just the selected row — and tick off what they sent. (From Results, the same keys send only the selected file.) Shift+S spots the whole list.

Actions

  • Reset entire list
  • Reset Xfer Status — sets selected row(s) back to un-transferred (also on the right-click row menu)
  • Mark all as transferred
  • Import legacy Taglist — converts 5.x to v2023 taglists

Standard clear options for the current Taglist. Self-explanatory once you open the menu.

Multiple Taglists

You can run several Taglists side by side, each writing to its own .xml file in real time. No save/load — changes persist instantly.

The Folder icon next to the Taglist switcher opens a folder watcher: rename, copy, duplicate, or delete Taglist presets directly in Finder or Explorer, and basehead will reflect the change live.
