It would be nice to have a separate field to enter/see the pitch value rather than use the timecode field.
We would be able to see the value all the time, and not only when we are editing it.
The pitch slider setting is not stored with a file, it is only applied while the file is loaded and at the point a file is exported from Basehead. When you switch files the slider will reset so the value is not stored.
However, when you transfer a file using DnD, Spot, Transfer or Taglist if you applied the pitch slider then this will add a tag onto your filename with the pitch amount:
By field, I meant in the user interface, not in metadata. Please see the attached mock-up.
It is displayed when you first adjust the pitch in the "time" field but as soon as you play or switch files it disappears and reverts to playback time. A dedicated field that displays this would be handy I agree. Voted.
