Has anyone got Basehead to work through an Aux track with ReWire in Pro Tools Ultimate on Windows?
Bit frustrating to switch between sound sources to playback a sample before throwing it in.
Running Pro Tools 2020.12.0 with Basehead 2021.3.08
Yeah, that's because Pro Tools does not release the audio driver when not in focus (unlike BaseHead which only grabs the audio when it is needed) so it is required to pipe through using either Rewire, VoiceMeeter or Source Nexus.
Should work without issue, almost everyone that is using PT uses this method to pipe their audio from other applications. You need to ensure both BH and PT are using the same sample rates first (BH Options and PT project prefs). I am not a PT user at all but have no issues doing the same into Reaper and it should be as simple as add a new track which is linked to the Rewire input then just enable rewire in BH.
To assist further if you still have issues, you would need to open a support ticket with screenshots of your settings, the debug log attached and exactly what isn't working (errors, cannot select driver etc).
