I have a problem when I spot files in protools. If I make, in BH, a selection with shift key (to mark in yellow and not zoom) and send that selection to a track with S key, everything is fine, but if I trim that selection in protools the file is shorter than the original. In the options menu I have Spot with handles (full) selected. This doesn't happen if I select a part of the file without the shift key. I need to be able to access the entire file in my session because I use the same file multiple times but I need it to be different. My BH version is 5.2.41 and my PT version is 2020.9.

You would probably need to create a support ticket for this. May be you need to test using the latest version of BH first even if your support plan is expired, you can test with a later version using a demo extension from the site to see if your issue was fixed in a later version.
