Thanks for purchasing a basehead license!

A quick walkthrough on activating your new license. The whole flow takes a couple of minutes.

1. Open the Activation tab

Launch basehead and open the Activation panel from Help → Activation. Pick the device you want to bind your license to, or go CloudBased from the right side of the panel (recommended).

2. Create a DeviceSerial

Select the device you want to activate, then click Create DeviceSerial and follow the instructions that appear. They’ll take you to the My Licenses page.

CloudBased license? You can skip this step — a Cloud KEY has already been created instead of an empty container.

Otherwise, click the Activate button on any empty license container to paste in the DeviceSerial code from your clipboard.

Once a container is activated, you have two options.

Option A — Online (recommended)

Best if your machine has internet access.

Click the Copy icon next to your license on the My Licenses page.

Back in basehead’s Help → Activation panel, paste the KEY you just copied.

Option B — Offline (.key file)

For machines without internet access.

Click the Download button to get your .key file from the My Licenses page.

In basehead’s Help → Activation panel, click Show ‘Licenses’ Folder and drop the downloaded .key file in.

Coming from FREE or TRIAL? You may need to go to the Licenses tab, select your purchased license, and click Set as Active so basehead launches with your new license going forward.
