Force focusing takes about 10 seconds to activate or deactivate. Is this normal behavior?

More detail needed. How do you mean, what version of BaseHead? Mac or PC? Have you read through the FAQ and tried a preference wipe first?

This is a brand new installation of 2021.9.17 on Mac 10.15.7with no preferences set except to point to my server and to set my audio output. I have read through the faq and the manual and not found anything that leads me to think it's a configuration issue. I am not doing anything except command clicking on imports to force focus them and it takes about 10sec to engage/disengage force focus for an import. Is that normal behavior?
